Faculty of Social and Linguistic Communication  Is a group of like-minded people united by the idea of building an educational environment based on respect, trust, principles of integrity, cooperation and interaction, who try to keep up with the times, and even be one step ahead. 

Mission Faculty of Social and Linguistic Communication - education of talented and motivated leaders of Ukraine - successful professionals in the field of teaching and learning history, English and foreign literature, Ukrainian language and literature, Russian language and literature, specialists with advanced skills of a practical psychologist and a competent translator from English, German or French, who are able to transform society through the creation and transfer of knowledge. 

Values: quality and professionalism, tolerance and social sociability, responsibility and flexibility, creativity and curiosity.

The structure of the faculty of social and linguistic communication today includes departments:

  • domestic and foreign history (Head: Doctor of History, Prof. GP Dokashenko);
  • Ukrainian philology (Head: Ph.D., Assoc. Prof. Radionova TM);
  • English philology and translation  (Head: Ph.D., Assoc. Prof. Andrushchenko VO);
  • linguistics and Russian language (Head: Ph.D., Assoc. Prof. Kolesnichenko OL). 
  • psychology (Head: Candidate of Psychology, Assoc. Prof. Borozentseva TV).

The faculty trains higher education graduates with a bachelor's degree (term of study - 3 years and 10 months) and a master's degree (term of study - 1 year and 4 months) with the following degrees. specialties and educational and professional programs

Our educational programs are focused on the applicant, who already at the stage of his professional choice has a clear vision of his social status and professional self-realization, in whose plans -

  • perfect mastery of resources of Ukrainian and / or English, Russian, German or French as an indispensable component of social success of the individual in the XXI century. - from pedagogy to business and management, from research to management and politics;
  • high-quality level of translation skills at international conferences and meetings with world figures, which ensures the success of negotiations and international cooperation in general;
  • comprehension of history as a result of activity of concrete persons with all their secret and public thoughts and actions, understanding of deep motives of actions of great people, rulers of the world;

transformation of objective and subjective complexities of reality into their undeniable advantages, acquisition of skills to counteract such threats to the psyche of modern man as information overload, misunderstanding, alienation, desire to learn to control anxiety, overcome depression, overcome conflict.
